About us
Advanced Periodontics has two offices that are located in New Haven and Hamden.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The Sterilization Technician will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sterility in dental environments.
**Duties:**
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Prepare and package instruments for sterilization
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilizing equipment
- Maintain accurate sterilization records
- Monitor and track inventory of supplies
-Setting up trays for surgical procedures
- Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment
**Requirements:**
-Dental assisting training preferred, but not required
- Understanding of infection control procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
